In order to in-depth exchange of pesticide registration efficacy evaluation and discuss the requirements for efficacy test evaluation and related issues, the Pesticide Inspection and Determination Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held an exchange meeting on pesticide registration efficacy evaluation from October 15 to 16, 2020 in Jinan.

   

The main progress of pesticide registration and efficacy evaluation in China was summarized and analyzed.The meeting emphasized that efficacy evaluation is the key to pesticide registration and evaluation and the foundation of pesticide risk evaluation.It is necessary to accelerate the improvement of pesticide registration test methods, resistance risk assessment and other standards, explore scientific and reliable evaluation methods, and guide the rational use of pesticides.The meeting further requested that the provincial and provincial drug testing institutions should further strengthen learning and guidance, carry out research on hot and difficult issues, strengthen resistance risk assessment, improve technical capacity and provide good services for agricultural production.

 

The meeting introduced the progress of pesticide registration and pesticide registration reevaluation, requirements for pesticide registration efficacy data review and other relevant information, and Shared the efficacy experience and cases of some provinces.Participants also had in-depth exchange of views on common problems in the assessment of resistance risk, evaluation of benefit analysis data and evaluation of efficacy data of pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and sanitary insecticides.The delegates had a positive discussion and a warm atmosphere, which achieved the expected results of the meeting.

 

Nearly 50 delegates from relevant departments of national provincial pesticide testing institutions attended the meeting.
